Highly Qualified Teacher Requirements

Understanding the requirements for becoming a highly qualified teacher can be challenging. The SREB-State Teacher Center can help you. Pick an SREB state—or more than one state—and get state requirements, obtain information and learn about options available to you. You can also search for subject-matter competency information for any grade level. Simply check the state (or states) you want information about, choose the category that best describes your situation and the grade level.
